YOGA classes for Women

Mrs.Bala has started yoga classes for women 3 weeks ago free of cost. Timings of the classes are from 9.00 a.m to 10.00a.m Monday to friday. ladies who are interested are welcome to join. Its highly appreciated that Mrs. Bala has collated all yoga excercises which are relevant for ladies.

Pranayama,tummy related excercises, surya namaskar are few of the yoga we do in the class.

Most important par of the class- she asked a GURUDAKSHINA which was really unique, she has asked us to dedicate 2 hours for any social activity once in a month.

Diet and low calorie food suggestions are also discussed during the sessions.

Not only our ABHYUDAYA ladies but other ladies in the GG community and from adjacent apartments are attending these classes.

We all thank Mrs.Bala for her sincere and selfless efforts.

 

Nov 2012_Diwali_WDD day_Blue day

One more memorable day of Telugu Families of Gopalan Grandeur.

Diwali celbrations started with Godess Lakshmi Pooja by all the ladies.
it was followed by diwali story recitation by one of our senior member .
Kids loved the short film on Diwali, had a quiz on Diwali.

Blue day : Our friend Mr.Chikkam Rammohan has conducted diabtes awareness camp which was sponsored by NOVONORDISK as it was World diates day on 11th november 2012.
Most delightful moments were when all the residents were informed that they are healthy upon tests conducted.

All of us were dressed in Blue resembling the World diabetes day. !!!!!!! Khudos to the team .

All of us had delicious lunch followed by antakshari ,housie betweenMen  & Women.

Event  was organised by our friends Mr.Anil Mallu & Mr. Ramakanth Avadhanulu.

Evening all of us burnt few crackers inviting the festival of lights !!!!!!!

October 2012_Famliygettogether

Telugu families of Gopalan Grandeur had a family get together at SR farmhouse on chiktirupati road in Oct 2012 , around 12 families have attended. Farm house was given by one of our friends Mr.Jayaprakash and Mrs.Babitha, thanks to them that all of us had a wonderful day.

 All of us had a wonderful time throughout the day.
kids had great fun in the lovely clear pool while adults played pool basket ball.
the group had some fun filled games followed by delicious food served.

During the discussions all of us agreed that we need to do some social events which are useful for society as well.

It was a memorable event for each one of us.
